With SMIT ConfigBridge, data can be exported fully automatically from existing clients and imported into new environments using pre-configured Dynamics 365 entities. This allows you to duplicate your Golden Configuration quickly and easily and transfer it to new systems and/or additional clients. In this way, SMIT ConfigBridge accelerates your entire configuration and release management.
It supports your team with many recurring configuration activities: The operability of the basic configuration as well as the accepted custom configurations are quickly checked after the regular Dynamics 365 updates. Development systems are securely reinstalled or restored. And it can be ensured that the same system setup is available on all machines, from development to UAT, right from the start of the project.
Compare systems quickly and systematically with SMIT ConfigBridge
The new compare function of SMIT ConfigBridge allows you to automatically compare different Dynamics 365 systems. For example, you can compare your UAT and your PROD or the UAT environment with a specific DEV environment with just one click.
If two systems unexpectedly behave differently - either after a release or due to configurations - the automatic comparison saves you the tedious manual search for the differences.
The Compare function can also be used in the course of release preparation if you want to ensure that two systems are identical before changes are made to one or both systems. You can also check whether changes have been completely transferred from one system to another.
The results of the comparison are clearly displayed in an Excel table so that you can easily see the matches and differences.
