Change of authentication for the Warehouse Management Mobile App
7. June 2024
The Dynamics User Group Germany meets monthly online at events organized via the Meetup.com platform. This is where the community discusses all topics relating to Microsoft Dynamics 365. The almost 650 members are Microsoft employees, partners, end users and generally interested parties. The Dynamics User Group (DUG) has been around since 1995, making it the longest-running independent Dynamics community site.
On May 12, Sven and I had the honor of presenting our new test management and test execution tool "Sören" to the group at a Meetup Special that was convened especially for us.
The meeting was a hybrid meeting: in addition to the almost 60 participants online, around ten people were also present at Arwinger in the production hall. For 90 minutes, we were not only able to introduce Sven Mahn IT and Arwinger, but also used the Arwinger processes to present testing with Sören.
Sören is a test management tool in the form of an independent web application that is particularly geared towards usability and the needs of inexperienced users. It enables the manual testing of functions by creating and executing test cases or the testing of entire End2End processes by linking these test cases. Sören can be connected to both Azure DevOps and Jira projects in order to take over existing test documents, if necessary, as well as to enable the connection of test cases to work items and the creation of new work items from the test execution in the projects.
We have demonstrated Sören's unique selling point, the structured testing of End2End processes, using the three examples of Power-App-to-D365, E-Mail-to-Inquiry and Procure-to-Pay.

In the demo, we were able to show that cross-system processes can be easily tested with Sören and that tests away from the PC screen also work. With the help of the HoloLens, Sven showed the goods receiving process with an MDE and the warehouse app, including the actual transfer of the goods to the storage location.
After a short question and answer session, the presentation was already over. Afterwards, we rounded off the day with a beer and sausages from the barbecue. All in all, it was a lot of fun to be able to present us and our "Test Management Mate" to such a large group of interested people.
The User Group has uploaded the recording of the meeting to its YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/YXa-e93MQwE
The Dynamics User Group Meetups are a great forum for exchanging ideas with other Dynamics users and I will be happy to take part in future meetings.
